The Old Post Office Guest House The Old Post Office Guest House is our family home and as the name suggests, it was the the village Post Office from the mid 1950's until 2003. Whilst we know little of the earlier history of the building, it was built c1714 when Pilton was a small village independant of Barnstaple. We purchased the property in early 2004 and spent some 3 years making it into a comfortable home.We now offer luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. There is currently one large double en-suite room and one large double room with private bath/shower room for guests. We are conveniently located for Barnstaple town, rail and bus stations. We are also within easy driving distance of many of North Devon's lovely beaches. Should you enjoy walking we are also close to the Tarka Trail.
